Investigators seek public's help in identifying robbery suspects

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who they say robbed and pistol whipped a grocery store employee on Monday.

The incident occurred Monday morning at the Bestop grocery store in the 11100 block of Aldine Westfield Road. Surveillance video shows two men entering the store just before 7 a.m. armed with weapons.

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say the men forced their way into an office area and demanded the clerk open cash drawers after beating him over the head several times. Authorities say the men they loaded money into bags and fled the store.

Officials describe one suspect as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 6-foot to 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds.
