HPD: Woman captured on video breaking into N. Houston home

HOUSTON – Houston Police say a woman was captured on video breaking into a home in the Acres Homes area in December, and now there’s a reward for her arrest.

The crime happened Dec. 5 at about 9 a.m.

Police say the woman broke in through a front window at the home in the 1600 block of Twinbrooke Drive. The woman took valuable items in a large purse and then fled the scene.

Police described the suspect as a black female, approximately 35-45 years old, 5'06"-5'08", 150-165 lbs., wearing a shower cap, gloves, sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
