Man accused of shooting gun in Snapchat video charged

The man accused of shooting a gun in a Snapchat video near the Memorial Park area has been charged with deadly conduct.

HOUSTON - The man accused of shooting a gun in a Snapchat video near the Memorial Park area has been charged with deadly conduct. 

According to the Houston Police Department, 22-year-old Edwin Alexander Ospino Soto was arrested last week after receiving a tip via Crime Stoppers. 

The Snapchat post was made shortly after 10 p.m. Nov. 16 from a basketball court in Cottage Grove Park. The shirtless man in the video is seen firing the gun multiple times while someone records using a cell phone.
