HOUSTON – Driver was killed after being shot in the head by a passenger as they were driving along the Gulf Freeway Thursday night.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 10 p.m. on the feeder road heading south near Telephone Road.
Three males were in a Toyota car when one of the passengers pulled a gun and allegedly shot the driver in the head, police said. He veered off the road and ran over a couple of small signs before coming to a stop in a parking lot.
