HOUSTON – A hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle on the Southwest Freeway left two riders hospitalized Wednesday night.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 9:30 p.m. near Edloe.
Police said that a motorcycle with two riders, a male and a female, was either hit from behind or side-swiped by another vehicle.
The car kept going and fled the scene, police said. Both the male and female were thrown from the motorcycle.
Police said the female passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the male rider was transported in stable condition.
A description of the suspect vehicle was not available.
