HPD: 1 of 3 suspects wanted in dad's murder arrested

HOUSTON - Charges have been filed against a man for the death of another man who was fatally shot as he slept in bed, Houston Police say.

The victim’s son found his dad, 56-year-old Robert Hill, Sr., dead in the 14800 block of Estrellita Drive at about 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 24.

The suspect, 30-year-old Kenneth Seastrunk, is charged with capital murder.

Police say the victim’s son found his dad shot and several rooms ransacked. HFD paramedics responded, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to HPD, an investigation led to Seastrunk as one of three suspects involved. Seastrunk was taken into custody that same day and charged.

Anyone with information on the identities of the other two suspects is asked to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
