Hearing for Shannon Miles pushed back

HOUSTON – Competency hearing for suspected cop-killer Shannon Miles has been pushed back two months.

Miles is accused of killing Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth last year at a Cypress gas station.

Miles has been undergoing treatment at a mental hospital in North Texas since February, but is now back at the Harris County Jail.

Earlier this month, doctors declared Miles competent to stand trial. Now it’s up to a judge to make it official.
