HCSO: Woman's new boyfriend shot, killed in fight with husband

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies say a fight between a woman’s new boyfriend and soon to be ex-husband turned into a deadly shooting Monday night in northwest Harris County.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, it started at 5:50 p.m. at a residence in 7300 block of Prairie Village Drive near Swan Valley Drive.

Deputies said that at that time the woman, Christina Roman, was at home and her new boyfriend, Collins White, had just arrived to pick her up to go out.

The woman is in the middle of a divorce, and her soon to be ex-husband, Benjamin Aguilar, arrived, along with Aldo Aguilar, right behind the boyfriend, deputies said. They believe it was just a co-incidence.

Deputies said Benjamin and Aldo Aguilar approached White while he was loading a crib into his vehicle. Both Benjamin and Aldo were armed with firearms and Benjamin shot White at least twice and fled the scene.

White was taken by Life Flight to a local hospital where he later died. Deputies said the Aguilars were taken into custody at another location.
