Gunfire leads to chase in Gulfton overnight

HOUSTON – Police chased two suspects in southwest Houston after gunfire was reported in the Gulfton community overnight.

Around 11 p.m. Wednesday police responded to Glenmont near Rampart where residents heard gunfire coming from a self-serve car wash. Police saw two men running from the scene, but police managed to catch them in a nearby apartment complex.

Police say no shooting victims were found, so it’s unknown what the suspects were targeting.

Officers say they found narcotics on the suspects, so the men will face multiple charges for the incident.
