Four suspects on the run after shooting man in northeast Houston roadway

HOUSTON -- Police said four men were on the run late Tuesday after a shooting in northeast Houston.

It happened on Parker at Kelburn around 9:45 p.m.

According to officers with the Houston Police Department, a man in his late 20s was attacked in the middle of the road for unknown reasons. One of the four men involved pulled out a gun and shot the victim four times in his abdomen.

The suspects fled, and the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was expected to live.

A detailed description of the attackers was not immediately available.
