FBI, New Orleans police looking for fugitive who may be in Houston area

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - The FBI and New Orleans Police are looking for a fugitive who may be in the Houston area.

The FBI’s New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force and the New Orleans Police Department are asking for the public's help in finding 24-year-old Robert Earl Brumfield III.

Brumfield III, also known as “Lil Rob” is wanted for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery and murder in 2013.

Authorities said on December 18, 2013 Brumfield III was involved in robbing a Loomis armored car and the murder of a Loomis employee. 

The employee Hector Trochez was killed at a Chase Bank near Tulane University. 

The fugitive is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI New Orleans Field Office at 504-816-3000. 

Loomis Armored US is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.
