ROSENBERG, Texas- The body found in the Brazos River on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as Guadalupe Bueno-Aranda, 57, according to the Rosenberg Police Department.
Bueno-Aranda was reported missing on October 11, 2016. The medical examiner said drowning was the cause of death. There were no signs of foul play.
The investigation is on-going at this time.
Officials said the man went missing after returning home from the hospital where he had been evaluated for mental health issues.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, they received a call from the Brazos River Authority about a body being found in the river around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.
His body was located near 400 Baker Road in the Rosenberg area.
