GCSO: 10 arrested on felony drug charges at Middlelands festival

At least 10 people were arrested on felony drug charges during the Middlelands festival in Grimes county, according to the sheriff's office.

TODD MISSION, Texas- At least 10 people were arrested on felony drug charges during the Middlelands festival in Grimes county, according to the sheriff's office. 

Authorities said the arrests took place late Friday night and early Saturday morning. 

The first of its kind music festival kicked off Friday night on the grounds of the Texas Renaissance Festival. It  mixes electronic dance music with a renaissance/medieval theme.

Nearly 25,000 people are expected to attend each day of the festival.
