Altercation leads to fatal stabbing at N. Houston McDonald's

HOUSTON -- Houston police said a man stabbed another man to death at a McDonald's north of downtown on Wednesday evening.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. along Fulton and Boundary, according to homicide investigators with the Houston Police Department.

Witnesses told police that a man and woman, who did not know each other, got into an altercation inside the restaurant. The woman got upset and left, but her husband returned to the business and confronted the man.

The two men got into a fight, and the husband allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the other man.

Police said the husband left, but a Pct. 6 deputy constable later found him and took him into custody. Police also took the suspect's wife in for questioning.

The victim, 32, later died at the hospital. His identity was not released.

Several hours after the incident, HPD said no charges had yet been filed as the investigation continued.
