HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - Sheriff’s deputies were investigating an alleged machete attack late Sunday at a flea market in northern Harris County.
It happened at the Sunny Flea Market on Airline north of Little York.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department believe the attacker is actually the groundskeeper at the property. He allegedly asked a group of people to leave after closing time, and when they didn’t he attacked them with a machete.
One person suffered cuts to his face and arms.
The victim is listed in the hospital in serious condition.
The suspect’s status wasn’t immediately known. He lives on the property but couldn't be located after the attack.
