HOUSTON – A 57-year-old Woodlands man was arrested Monday for impersonating a public servant, United States Attorney Kenneth Magidson said. Paul Alan White, aka Jonathan Alan Davenport, was taken into custody without incident.
According to a four-count indictment, White posed as an FBI special agent and/or a CIA agent at different times during 2011 and 2012. He allegedly intended to obtain personal information from individuals and to have authorities give him privileges as well as dismiss a traffic citation against him.
If convicted, he faces up to three years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each count.
The case was investigated by the Houston Police Department and the FBI with cooperation of the CIA. Assistant United States Attorney Joe Porto is prosecuting the case.
