HOUSTON —- A woman was taken into custody after leading officers on an early morning chase in east Houston, police said.
The chase happened around 3 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
An officer spotted the woman driving a stolen van in the 1100-block of Evanston. After a short chase, the suspect crashed into a ditch on Orleans. She was taken into custody without further incident.
Officers said the woman now faces a felony evading charge. Other charges could also be filed in the case, officers noted.
