HOUSTON – Three people were injured early Thursday when gang members opened fire at a party in southwest Houston, according to witnesses.
A large group was gathered at a house party on Fondren Village at Fondren Place around 1 a.m. when some gang members showed up and started causing trouble, according to witnesses.
The suspects broke a window at the party, and one of them leaned out of a black BMW and began firing into the crowd.
“Everybody came outside, one of them (the suspects) hopped up out the window with a big old gun and just started shooting,” one partygoer said.
One man was shot in the leg and taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition. Another man was shot in the foot and a woman was shot in the rear end. Both of those victims were driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
The suspects remain on the loose.
