HOUSTON—Harris County deputies say a man has admitted to creating a fake website in an attempt to damage the reputation of a doctor.

Vector Thorn, a website designer and computer programmer, was arrested Tuesday and charged with online impersonation.

Thorn allegedly set up a website that appeared to belong to his former doctor. The website, which was not authorized or approved by the doctor, contained racially motivated wording.

Investigators said Thorn provided a verbal confession and additional information leading to the digital data used to create the website.

He was being held on a $5,000 bond.
