ROSENBERG, Texas—A group of bold thieves left more than a dozen vehicles on blocks after ripping off tires and rims from an auto dealership in Rosenberg, according to Rosenberg police.
The the thieves hit Finnegan Chevrolet in the 26000 block of Highway 59 on November 9.
Police said sometime between midnight and 6 a.m., rims and tires were stolen from Chevrolet Texas Edition Sierra trucks, GMC Texas Edition Sierra trucks, GMC Terrain SUVs, GMC Yukon SUVs and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4s. A total of sixteen vehicles were targeted.
The thieves gained access to the grounds by cutting through a fence on the west side of the dealership.
Tire tracks from a dual wheel vehicle, possibly a box truck of rental truck, were seen along the driveway between the dealership and an adjacent business.
