HOUSTON – A police officer is recovering from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident on Post Oak Boulevard and South Beltway 8 early Tuesday morning.
The officer was responding to a call and had her sirens and lights on when she was hit by another car as she crossed an intersection.
The car drove away after the accident, but was found a few blocks away on fire. Police are still searching for the driver of the vehicle.
