HOUSTON – Two drivers face driving while intoxicated charges after two accidents early Sunday morning on the Southwest Freeway near Edloe, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the first accident happened at about 2:15 a.m. when a white Ford Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed slammed into the back of another car. The Mustang fled the scene of the first accident.
However, a wreck driver followed the driver of the Mustang and told HPD where they went.
While firefighters used their truck to block the accident scene, another suspected drunk driver crashed into the fire truck.
Authorities said that no one was injured in either accident.
Both the male driver of the Mustang and the female driver of the second car were taken in to custody.
