HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating another smash-and-grab robbery after three male suspects backed a truck into a north Houston convenience store and stole an ATM Sunday morning.
Witnesses said the suspects, who were wearing ski masks, backed a truck into the side of the Valero Convenience Store at 4:30 a.m. The business is located in the 6900 block of Airline Drive near Bucan Street.
The suspects smashed through the wall, which was closest to the ATM inside. Witnesses said there was another vehicle there with the suspects, which they used to load up the ATM.
There was a female clerk inside the store at the time of the robbery, but she was not injured.
