HOUSTON – Authorities say three armed robbers would not take no for an answer Thursday afternoon in northwest Harris County.

According to Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, the robbery happened around 2 p.m. at the Chase bank located in the 12100 block of Veterans Memorial near Antoine.

Three male suspects wearing ski masks entered the bank and tried to rob the tellers, deputies said. The suspects were not able to get to the clerks and then turned their attention on customers.

The robbers then robbed five of the customers in the lobby before fleeing the scene. They remain at large.

A short time later, an ambulance arrived to take one of the customers, who was targeted, to the hospital.

The extent of the customer’s injuries has not been released, but he was alert and conscious when he was taken away to Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

FBI and Harris County investigators are still inside the bank talking with customers and with employees.

They are also trying to determine if these are the same suspects who robbed a bank at Veterans Memorial and FM 1960 on Wednesday.
