HOUSTON—Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a suspect who attempted to sabotage a dollar store’s surveillance equipment after committing an aggravated robbery in late August.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a robbery call at a dollar style store located on the 24000 block of FM 2100 on August 26.
Witnesses said a man entered the store around 10:20 pm. and pretended to shop for some time.
The suspect then pulled out a red bandana and covered his face. He approached the sales counter with a pistol, demanding cash from the register and safe.
Before leaving, the suspect ordered one of the victims to pour bleach into the electronic surveillance equipment in the store’s office.

The suspect is said to be between 22 and 24 years of age, stands 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 170 lbs. The suspect wore his hair in braids with beads attached, and has a distinct gold front tooth. At the time of the offense the suspect wore a black baseball cap, a black and white hoodie, jeans and red tennis shoes.
