HOUSTON -- Houston Police released a composite sketch Tuesday of the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Northbrook High School.

Augustine Jose Flores, 16, was shot and killed Sunday night at the intersection of Shepherd and Crosstimbers while he was in the backseat of a car that was being driven by a friend who had gotten into a verbal fight with another motorist.

Flores was driven to the hospital, but doctors could not save him.

Police said the suspect had cornrows in his hair, diamond stud earrings and he was driving a silver or grey Buick, perhaps a Le Sabre, with tinted windows and paper license plates.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information in this case or on the identity of the wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
