MISSOURI CITY, Texas—Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Woodforest National Bank in Missouri City on November 16.

Missouri City police said the suspect entered the bank in the 9900 block of Highway 6 around 2 p.m. and casually walked up to a teller’s window. The suspect then removed a silver firearm from his waistband, pointed it at the employee and demanded money.

After the teller complied and handed over the cash, the suspect walked out of the bank. No one was physically harmed, police said.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, 6 feet 2 to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a goatee. He was wearing a black hat with a white design on it, square sunglasses, a blue shirt, dark colored jeans and a pair of white tennis shoes at the time of the hold up. The suspect was seen getting into an older-model, burgundy, four-door sedan.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery is asked to call the Missouri City Police Department at 281-403-8700 or Fort Bend County Crime Stopper at 281-342–TIPS (8477).
