HOUSTON—  Houston police have released surveillance photos of a vehicle believed to be involved in the fatal home invasion shooting of a man at 4926 Weeping Willow at about 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 17.

Two gunmen broke into a northwest Houston home, killing one person and wounding another, police said.

Witnesses called the Houston Police Department and said the suspects got out of a black sedan in front of the home. They then forced their way in and opened fire. The gunmen ran back outside to their car and sped away, witnesses said.

Amides Artiga, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother was taken to the hospital.  A teenager was also inside, but was not injured.

The suspects fled the scene in possibly a dark colored Chevrolet or GM four-door sedan.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
