SURFSIDE, Texas – A Surfside police officer was jailed Friday after allegedly strangling his wife during an argument.
Precinct 4 deputies were called to the couple’s Tomball home on English Pine Court around 4 a.m.
Ibrahim Sleiman’s wife told them that he dragged her from the bedroom during an argument, threw her on the couch and choked her. She said she couldn’t breathe and nearly passed out.
The wife said he then pushed her on the floor and dragged her by her hair across the living room floor.
Sleiman was arrested on a charge of assault/strangulation.
