HOUSTON – A street fight and shootout left police with one victim, three crime scenes and a bunch of unanswered questions in southwest Houston overnight.

Police say it started around 1:30 a.m. at Quail Park and Quail Hills when two groups of men and women got into a fight.

Fists and bullets were flying and at least one person was injured.

The victim was found shot in the stomach outside a home on nearby North Meadow Bird. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition.

The third crime scene was a Sunny’s Food Store at Quail Park and McHard where a Toyota Camry involved in the shootout ended up. It was covered in bullet holes, but the two people inside weren't injured.

Police questioned several people at all three scenes and at least four people were taken into custody.

Investigators are hoping surveillance cameras from the convenience store will also provide answers.

Check back later for more on this developing story.
