HOUSTON – Some residents in a southwest Houston neighborhood woke up Monday to find a rash of car break-ins.
Thieves targeted vehicles parked at eight homes in Braeburn Valley West. Six of the crimes happened on the same street. At one house three vehicles were hit.
Several vehicles were left unlocked or with the window cracked open so it was easier for the thieves to steal, police said.
One vehicle, which had its key left in the ignition, was stolen.
