WEBSTER, Texas – Police say they’ve solved the murder of a florist who was gunned down in Webster over the weekend.

Brenda Dickey, 68, was shot to death inside NASA Flowers around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.

Officers found her body in the flower shop’s office at 205 East NASA Parkway.

They originally believed Dickey was shot during a robbery.

But after an investigation, Webster detectives arrested the victim’s son, 44-year-old Mark Dickey.

He is charged with murder and jailed without bond.
