RICHMOND -- Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is asking the public to help locate the suspects responsible for multiple burglaries in the Richmond area.
Officials said on Thursday, April 18, two residences were burglarized and there was a burglary attempt at another house in the Grand River and River Forest subdivisions located off of FM 359.
Police said a homeowner foiled the efforts of the burglars in the Grand River incident. The suspects fled the scene after attempting to pry open a back door.
In one River Forest case, the burglars gained entry to the house by kicking in a door. However, the homeowner told authorities that nothing had been stolen.
In the other River Forest case, the suspects gained entry by prying the back door open. Police said they stole four rifles from the residence.
Through surveillance cameras and eyewitnesses, two sketches of the suspects were released by police. There is a third suspect who is a woman.
One suspect is described as a white male, 6’0”, 160 pounds and n his mid-20’s. He has light-colored eyes (possibly green), with several tattoos on his arm and neck. His lip is pierced and he had multiple piercings in his ears. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve flannel type shirt with a striped “doo rag” on his head.
The other suspect is described as a white male, about 5’7” with a stocky and muscular build. He’s believed to be in his late 20’s with multiple tattoos on his arm. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and also was wearing a “doo-rag.”
The female suspect has a medium build and dark hair.
Police said the suspects were driving what is believed to be a black Hyundai Tiburon or Nissan Altima.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in these cases.
