HOUSTON – A shooting outside a south Houston nightclub early Saturday has left one person dead and authorities searching for the suspected shooter, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, there was large crowd at the Turning Point Club, located in the 3300 block Old Spanish Trail, around 2 a.m. when an argument ensued in the parking lot.
Investigators said someone pulled a gun and started shooting. One man was hit and died at the scene, while another was shot in the side.
The second shooting victim was able to jump in his car and drove several miles to Rosalie Street where he called 911, police said. He was then transported to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
Police have no suspects in custody at this time and have not released a description.
