HOUSTON – Houston police said security cameras may have captured a fatal corner store shooting on Monday night.
The shooting was reported around 8 p.m. on Lee Street at Hailey Street, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the victim approached a couple of cars in the parking lot of a convenience store. Moments later, gunshots were fired from one of the cars. The vehicles sped away as the victim died at the scene.
The victim’s identity wasn’t released, but police said he may have been involved in gang activity.
Investigators said they would review video from the store's surveillance cameras.
