HARRIS COUNTY -- Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the suspects who robbed an area grocery store.

Officials said on Sunday, deputies responded to a robbery call originating from the grocer located on the 11200 block of Perry Road in northwest Harris County.

Authorities said around 12:05 a.m., two Hispanic males, wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas stormed the store.

The first suspect, who carried a shotgun, leaped over the counter, and through the protective glass enclosure. He began to hit the victim as the second suspect demanded cash from the register.

The victim surrendered about $400 in cash, which the second suspect placed into a backpack. Both suspects then ran away.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 17 and 20 years. He’s between 6’1”-6’2” and weighs 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a red bandana covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 17-20 years. He’s between 5’7”-5’11” and weighs 190-220 pounds. He was last seen a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a red bandana covering his face.

The robbery was captured by the store’s surveillance system.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).
