WEST UNIVERSITY, Texas – Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information on three suspects in a violent robbery at a West U home last month.
It happened around 6 a.m. on June 15 at a home in the 4200 block of Bissonnett.
Investigators said the victim was exercising in her garage when the three men approached her.
She struggled with one of the men, suffering facial bruising and other injuries when he threw her to the floor.
Police said another suspect carried her inside and questioned her about a safe while pinning her to the ground.
The victim said when she told the suspect she didn’t have a safe, the suspect pulled out a gun and told her to tell him where the safe was.
She said she again told the suspect there was no safe.
During the struggle, one of the suspects told the victim that they were given instructions not to hurt her, and all they wanted was the safe.
Another suspect told her she needed to be cautious about whom she was friends with.
The victim said the suspects continued to search her home and eventually called a third party on the phone to get instructions.
Meanwhile, they bound her with duct tape and put her in a closet, bleeding and injured.
Police said the suspects left the scene in the victim’s black, two-door Audi S5.
The vehicle, which has not been recovered, has red leather interior and Texas plates CL3P686.
Crime Stoppers is now offering up to $15,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest or charging of any suspect in this case.
