HOUSTON— One man has been arrested in connection with a Fresno home invasion robbery in which the thief pretended to deliver a letter, according to the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.

The armed robbery happened at 3:10 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the 1900 block of Thistle Creek Court in Fort Bend County, deputies said.

The resident told deputies that three men parked near the home in a gray sedan and one of them went to the front door with a paper in hand, posing as a neighbor who had received the wrong mail. When the victim opened the door, the robber rushed the resident and the two other men joined him.

The thieves tied up the resident and stole a television set and a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, deputies said.

The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force said they arrested Demarquis Rogers Tuesday near Wayside and Tidwell.
