HOUSTON - Police say a Houston man intentionally pushed a stroller, with his child in it... into traffic on Thursday, according to a police report.
David Barbosa, 44, is charged with felony child endangerment, the affidavit stated.
Investigators said Barbosa was apparently upset about not getting paid for work he had been doing.
The child was not injured and someone nearby called police, who arrived to find Barbosa drunk and the baby incredibly dirty.
“Anything like that could have happened,” Lt. Julio Banda, Harris County Pct. 6 Constable’s Office, said. “He was pushing the stroller and he may not have been able to catch up to the stroller and baby could have easily could have been struck by a vehicle.”
Child Protective Service took the child into custody.
