HOUSTON – A couple of hit-and-run suspects are in custody after allegedly hitting a school bus in north Houston Thursday.
Their vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into the HISD bus near Cornell and 35th around 3 p.m., according to police.
That was their first mistake.
The suspects didn’t bother to stop.
That was their second mistake.
A plainclothes officer happened to see the accident, so she followed the suspects.
The juveniles were pulled over and arrested.
About a dozen kids from Burrus Elementary were on the bus, but no one was hurt.
