HOUSTON — A suspect is in custody after police say he threw a hammer at an officer on Monday in north Houston.
It happened when Houston police responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Rosie near North Shepherd Monday afternoon.
Police said the suspect was armed with a knife and the hammer. The suspect threw the hammer at the officer, but missed.
The officer tried then to stun the suspect with a Taser, but missed as well. He waited for backup before taking the man into custody.
