HOUSTON -- Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators need the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection to Wednesday afternoon's shooting in northwest Harris County that left three people dead and two others critically wounded.
Johnathan "J Boi" Sanchez, 25, has been charged with capital murder.
The incident happened Wednesday at 8200 Sunbury Lane.
A neighbor called 911 after hearing back-to-back gunshots. There was no disturbance heard prior to the gunfire.
All five victims were shot in the head execution-style. Two women and a man died at the scene, while another woman and a man were rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight helicopters.
Sheriff Adrian Garcia said the victims all appear to be young adults ranging in ages from 18 years old to the early 20s.
”It’s a waste of human life,” Garcia said. “Young people who will not get to fulfill the promise that they were born with.”
