HOUSTON – Pearland police have arrested a Houston woman and her boyfriend as they investigate the death of a man found inside his home on Sunday.
Police found Juanario ‘John’ Rosas deceased at his home in the 4800 block of Pinder Lane during a welfare check. Rosas’ coworkers called police after he missed his scheduled shift at an area hospital.
Detectives said Rosas’ death was a homicide.
On Thursday, the Pearland Police Department said Courtney King, 22, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence, a second degree felony, and arson, a first degree felony.
The Pearland Police Department on Friday arrested King’s 23-year-old boyfriend Damien Lucas Salinas. Salinas is expected to be charged with murder.
Detectives said they are unsure of how the two knew Rosas; just that the incident was not random.
