PEARLAND, Texas – Authorities are looking for a male suspect who robbed the IBC branch located within an H-E-B in west Brazoria County on Monday morning.
The Pearland Police Department said that at 10 a.m., the suspect entered the store located in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive near the South Freeway and proceeded to the International Bank of Commerce near the front of the store.
The suspect presented the teller a note demanding money, police said. Although the suspect threatened that he had a gun, no weapon was ever displayed.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene, police said. It is unknown if the suspect was in a vehicle.
At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark-colored wig, large sunglasses, a dark-blue shirt and faded blue pants.
