PASADENA, Texas—Police have a suspect in custody they said may have shot and killed another man Sunday during a domestic disturbance.

It happened around 1 p.m. in the 1100 block of Burke in Pasadena.
Police believe a domestic disturbance between a man, his ex and her male companion may have led to the shooting.
The suspect shot the victim, then fled the scene with his three children, who witnessed the crime. Police captured the suspect after a short foot chase.
The children were found unharmed in the car and are now in the care of family members.

TIt's a shame that the perp didn't resist so the polic could have used deadly force and save the taxpayers money. But at least they got the POS.

Boy they sure love to kill in this state, but they claim to be of God who said thou shall not kill....hhhhmmmm....even hope that the police get a chance to kill....hhhmmm

Calibamma, you just visiting or here permanently? I'm sure you can find a state that suits you better if you look around. Good luck and good bye.

I was born in Pasadena. Lived there through the 70s and 80s. I have watched my hometown BE TURNED INTO MEXICO! It's terrible! i wouldn't live there now for free.

I am with you rukidden. Calibamma looks like a cross between California and Alabama. I am sure both states would suit you better. Goodbye.

Really HATE to hear about people traumatizing their small chldren by doing these horrible things in their presence! The CHILDREN are the true victims here!

boondocksaint said on February 8, 2010 at 12:21 PM

broadmined you are so right. THE KIDS ARE THE ONES WHO SUFFER and the ones that call themselves ADULTS DO IT. Calibamma well said. As you can see, madeintexas and rukidden, are blood lovers and if you don't like it you can just go to another state. HA . I think like you do. Madeintexas have you ever been to Alabama it is a beautiful state. The rest stops are more beautiful than this whole state. How about that. And California well you may not know it you are about a year or two behind in reality and you don't know it. California has such beauty and a millions things to do. Oh and some people would love to live other places but its hard and expensive. Guess you are very accustomed to some of the violence here.

rukidden said on February 8, 2010 at 1:04 PM

Boondocksaint, and just why are you still here Texas? I think you should relocate with Calibama to one of those other states where you think the grass is greener.

madeintexas said on February 8, 2010 at 1:20 PM

boondocksaint, is there no crime in those states? You can't tell me that there is not. I have been to both states and they are beautiful, however I was born and raised in Texas and you could not get me to leave here. I love my state as much as I love my country. If the other states are so great, go there and enjoy them. You really should learn some punctuation since you asked me about five questions and left them as statements. You cant even read properly. I never put down those two states. Simply made a comment. Rikidden, I am still with you. If people dont like the way we Texans do things, go somewhere else.

According to the US Census, in 2006 and 2007, California had a higher number of violent crime than Texas. They also had a higher rate of property crime. Alabama was lower, but not by a huge margin. Guess they love to kill in all states, huh? http://www.census.gov/compendia/statab/cats/law_enforcement_courts_prisons/crimes_and_crime_rates.html

Go to this website to confirm what I am posting below for The 2009 State Crime Rankings. http://os.cqpress.com/rankings/CrimeStateRankings_2009.pdf 38 - Alabama, 37 - California, 36 - Texas ------ so you can just go back to your safe states.

They kill in CA and AL because they know they will get away with it. In typical liberal fashion the only opinion you are allowed to have is the same one as the liberals. That is the problem with the US today, people are fighting and dying for the rights of people to to speak freely, live freely and think freely, unfortunately the liberals don't agree wthat anyone should do that. They claim to be peace loving, get along with anyone and everyone has equal rights type people, until you disagree with them! Then you are a threat to THEIR freedom. Then they start flipping out and becoming the very people they profess to dislike...bigoted, opinionated and intransigent...hipocrites!

I guess KHOU didn't like my comment,, they sure didn't post it,, If you don't like TEXAS you have the right to get the hell out,, an if you want to kill someone in Texas expect to get killed back,,, fair is fair

You are so correct! We do live in Mexico! It's sad and to the others- anyone has the right to say what they please about any State. Sometimes the grass is greener and YOU are too blind to notice. Many are planning to leave. We are no longer in Texas. Texas is gone. We are officially a state of Mexico.

Honestly, I don't understand why some are so quick to bash Texas. I moved here from North Carolina 2 years ago, and I LOVE it here... taxes are lower, houses are cheaper, jobs are more plentiful, crime rate is lower, semi-tropical climate... I would be inclined to think if someone wasn't happy here, they would have little chance of being happy anywhere...
