HOUSTON--The Houston couple charged with failing to get help for their son after he broke his neck appeared in court Monday.
Muhammad Khan and his wife Shanila let their four-year-old go to school with the injury. A school nurse had to convince the parents to take the boy to the doctor.
The father told police that the boy broke his neck on September 2, but a person at the boy’s school believes he had been hurting long before that.
