FRIENDSWOOD -- Police officers arrested two men Friday afternoon after leading them on a chase in Friendswood.
The incident started at Baybrook Mall, where the men were allegedly shoplifting. Police were actually called to the scene for a vehicle break-in in the mall parking lot.
The suspects got away after exchanging gunfire with an officer near the mall.
Officers arrested one of the two guys who bailed and made a run for it off I-45 near Clear Lake City Boulevard.
No one was hurt in the incident.
