HOUSTON -- A Houston man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend was ordered to be held without bond on Friday.
Luan Vu, 19, reportedly confessed to the murder of his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend. He told police he beat Vy Bao-Pham with a tree branch then strangled her.
According to investigators, the apparent motive was jealousy after the victim started seeing someone else.
Pham’s body was found in Sims Bayou Thursday after an Amber Alert was issued.
