HOUSTON – Police are looking for three men who terrorized employees and customers of a southeast Houston meat market Monday morning.

The masked gunmen stormed into La Michoacana Meat Market in the 9300 block of Howard with guns waving.

Nacho Herrera had stopped in for his daily taco, coffee and chat with the employees.

"I was scared, one gun to my head. ‘I’m in trouble,’" said regular customer Nacho Herrera. "He said, ‘Get out of here, go in the corner, go in the floor!’"

Herrera and two other customers were ordered into the cooler.

Manager Gerardo Albor was taken into the office where he was pistol-whipped. The suspects also fired a shot. No one was hit, but the bullet ricocheted and knocked out the surevillance system.

The gunmen planned to flee in their getaway truck. They had left the engine running, but when they tried to take off, they couldn’t get it into gear.

The three ran away on foot.

Herrera hopes they’re caught soon. He said he hasn’t stopped shaking since this morning.

"No cry, but inside I crying," he said.
