HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating after a shooting victim was found lying on the side of a road outside a southwest Houston motel early Friday.
A couple walking in front of the Plainfield Inn, located on Plainfield and Ponderosa, discovered the body around 5:15 a.m. The victim had been shot in the head.
Houston firefighters transported the man to a hospital, where he later died.
